About the Journey
Before attending scientific training, Shri Jaiswal faced repeated challenges like colony collapse and diseases, resulting in frequent bee losses. He was managing 82 boxes and earning an annual net income of around Rs. 1.3 to 1.6 lakhs.
After receiving training under NBHM, he adopted modern beekeeping practices which improved colony health and productivity.
Training That Made a Difference
In 2022-23, Shri Jaiswal attended a seven-day Scientific Beekeeping Training under the National Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Gumla. The training included topics like bee biology, hive management, disease control, queen rearing, honey harvesting and more.
